This picture makes me smile.  Kiatphontip Gym is currently under water and all of the foreigners and fighters have left.  Some of the trainers stayed behind to look after the gym; pictured here is Samingprai, Liam and Mr. Dam in the back.  From what I’ve read on Facebook, the entire city of Salaya is flooded and people are getting around on boats like it’s Venice or something.  There’s also crocodiles swimming around.  When the picture was posted on Facebook, the caption under it said “Bird Curry,” I wonder if they shot it.  I have a ticket back to Thailand on Nov 1 (because buying a round-trip ticket ended up being cheaper than a one-way) and I’m feeling mad tempted to go back and help out.  But what could I do?  I would probably get eaten by a crocodile.  These guys are my heroes; they’re taking care of their home, themselves, and most importantly each other.
