I would just like to take the time to commend Sky Harbor International Airport for their superior quality of service. Upon arriving to the airport everything seemed fairly standard; I found my airline and completed my electronic check-in as usual. But as I approached the security gate, I could tell by how the officer was looking at me that I was not just another customer. Sure enough, I was informed that I had been selected to bypass the long line for a PRIVATE screening process in my own quiet and secluded room complete with a personal “pat-down” (airline slang for “massage” :) Now, I don’t know HOW the Sky Harbor International Airport employees knew this, but I really was not happy with my packing job last night, and without me saying a word they provided me with a complimentary unpacking of my bag!!! I tried to show my appreciation by letting them repack the bag themselves, but halfway through the process they admitted that NOBODY would be able to do as good of a job as I could. Ohhhhh you sweet talkers you! :). I don’t know what else Sky Harbor has in store for me today (perhaps a bump to a middle seat? *fingers crossed*) but I would just like to thank them for reminding me that I am different from everybody else.
